Larry n Caryl

        Merry Christmas to all J.  We’ve had a very good year and have made it through some challenges.  Caryl’s surgery in July is over but now we have to figure out hormone replacement which has taken a toll.  She is continuing to go to school and should graduate with her bachelor’s degree as a Certified Family Educator, next fall.  She is currently working as a teacher’s assistant for her professor  at UVU and continues to cut hair out of our home.                 

 

Larry is still working at Symantec in Lindon.  For fun he spent a lot of time gardening, helping Caryl bottle salsa, mountain biking and exercising.  He is currently training for his first Tri-Athlon in March and recently swam 1 mile without stopping.  February 14th will be our 19th wedding anniversary.

Sierra

Sierra turned 8 and already seems like she is a teenager trying to keep up with her two older sisters.  She was baptized October 9th.  It was nice that so many friends and relatives came and supported her. She is in the third grade and has many friends in school. She and Julia are currently in a contest to see who gets JoAnna’s room. The winner is the one who can keep their rooms the cleanest. She is currently in the lead !!!  Over the summer she played soccer but can’t wait to play softball again this summer. This next year her mom is going to be her girls scout troop leader and will be  selling cookies!  She likes to jump on the trap and play with the dogs. She is always making us laugh and keeps us smiling.

Julia

Julia attends Lehi Jr. High. She is a straight A student. This last year she ran track and learned how to play the guitar.  She enjoys being a teenager (right)  and sends thousands of text’s in a single month. She attends young women’s as a Mimaid and she has made many good friends.  Her dad continues to tease her like a brother which is really annoying. She took a mountain biking ride with him that resulted in a few scrapes. She has proved herself tough,  She got braces on last month and as you can see with her beautiful smile it enhances her natural beauty. 

JoAnna

Wow! We can’t believe this is happening. JoAnna is a senior at UCAS and a Sophomore at UVU in Orem. In April she will graduate with her associate degree from UVU and in May she will graduate from UCAS. Of course this last year she has enjoyed dating,  fun with girl friends and looking way too cute driving her green Volkswagen bug. She has enjoyed taking oil painting and dance class’ and her overall experience at UVU and UCAS. She has been very blessed with this opportunity.  She has wrote more music with lyrics and was awarded 1st place in the state of Utah in composing from the National Music Association.  She has a few part-time jobs and enjoys teaching a few piano kids. She has been accepted to try out for Utah State University - Music Therapy program which she is extremely excited about!!
